Kuwait Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE-KC) is Kuwait's premier voluntary, non-profit making Health, Safety and Environment organization that strives to provide professional guidance, training, consultancy and resources to the industrial and social sectors in the region. As part of its effort, ASSE-KC held International HSE Professional Development Conference and Exposition in May 2001, October 2002, December 2004 & April 2007.

Encouraged by the outcome of the earlier Conferences, ASSE-KC takes pride in announcing the Fifth International Professional Development Conference (PDC) to be conducted from 17th – 19th March 2009.  The conference is designed to be the largest of its kind in Kuwait. It also brings together practitioners across the globe representing a wide range of industries, organization and career levels to participate in the program of workshops, presentations and discussions concerning the occupational Health, Safety, Environment and Loss Prevention.

With an ambitious theme “Moving to Sky ”, the 2009 conference is aimed at reaching the pinnacles of HSE. Great effort is being spent to provide programs that are diverse, interactive, forward-thinking, people-focused, change-orientated, and of the highest quality. ASSE-KC is expecting well over 500 delegates to participate in the 2009 PDC. Besides conference, The Exhibition will feature demonstration of some of the largest and best known suppliers of Health, Safety and Environmental products and services.
