Who Should Attend? :
Engineers and managers responsible to audit the KPC 14 element PSM program, including audit process and technique; auditing document, site, interviews, and records; and reporting.
Course Outline:
This auditing course will address KPC 14 element PSM system and will follow the CCPS book “Guidelines for Auditing Process Safety Management Systems, with adjustments as needed.

- The training course will include classroom practice and audit skill development. There will be ongoing evaluation and written examination towards the end of the course. Full attendance and a minimum of 70% score in the evaluations and written exam are required for successful completion of the course. Successful candidates only will be awarded the Auditor certificate.

Workshop Leader
Mr. Brian Kelly, CCPS Staff Consultant
Mr. Brian Kelly retired from Syncrude Canada, Ltd as Chief Risk Manager. He has a career that spanned 34 years with Imperial Oil and Syncrude. He held a number of senior positions in Engineering, operations Risk management and process safety and was active in many CCPS committees, serving as chairman of the Incident Investigation committee. Brian received his BASc and MASc degrees in chemical engineering from the University of Ottawa (Canada). He has been recognized as a Fellow of the Canadian Society of Chemical Engineers and as a CCPS Fellow .
