Kuwait Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers is Kuwait's premier Health, Safety and Environment Organization. ASSE-KC strives to provide the educational resources for environmental, health, safety, and loss prevention practitioners. As part of that effort, ASSE-KC held major International conference and exposition in May 2001, October 2002, December 2004 and April 2007. The 2009, 5th International Professional Development Conference is designed to be the largest of its kind in Kuwait. It also brings together practitioners across the globe to participate in the program of workshops, presentations, discussions, and exhibits concerned with the occupational health, safety, environment and loss prevention. Titled “Moving to Sky”, the conference focus is on the future of the industry and it is designed to inspire innovation, discovery, creativity, and growth. Great effort has gone into providing programs that are diverse, interactive, forward-thinking, people-focused, change-orientated, and of the highest quality. Organizers are expecting well over 500 delegates to participate in the 2009 Conference.
